Maybe if the government focused less on red tape and more on letting local communities manage their own resources, they’d be better prepared for disasters like this.
It’s really tough to see Cyprus going through such devastation, and it’s clear we need both immediate action and long-term solutions. While it’s important to address climate change, we also have to make sure local communities get the emergency help they need right now. Working together internationally and finding balanced, practical policies is the only way we’ll get through crises like this.
